Windows mobile apps marketplace?

February 15th, 2011 | by admin |

Hey all!

I really want the htc HD2 because it is a badass phone! Seriously, it is amazing. The only thing I am concerned about is that its windows. I am coming from an android phone, so I know that the available apps pale in comparison.

I was just wondering if someone could plz tell me about the windows apps and if they are good/bad/useful/cheap/expensive etc etc, the more detail the better. thanks!! :)

They are pretty much the same when it comes to applications, but I think android os has more free apps and it’s the hottest os out there right now, HTC HD2 is catching up with it’s latest windows mobile, but it’s too bad that WP7 isn’t available for it

Windows and android are good operating system for a mobile but for more softwares and applications availability, symbian os is best. It is user friendly and support more applications which are available in current market. For a mobile with symbian os, i suggest you to buy nokia n79 but don’t think about nokia touchscreen, it have many problems… For any questions, contact me- pankaj645@yahoo.in

Actually youd be suprised that the android apps pale in comparison to WM apps. Windows Mobile has been around for alot longer then Android has, so you have everything from .netcompactframework (used for developig and running certain programs) to games a galore (granted the games pale to android). Depending on what apps you are looking for, the apps can fall into the category of everything you meantioned. If you are planning on modding anything for WM the products are insanely massive…i.e. ROMS, hacks, etc
