Click the green button and enter add/edit. Change the layout or remove the items there.

Click on view, select Toolbars Remove the checkmark, next to links..Good Luck..

It's not a virus, there isn't anything to worry about, those links are installed on Internet Explorer Links by default. Right click on a gray blank area on the toolbar and un-check Links and they will disappear.

Use Kaspersky online scanner, and mcafee online scanner, as well as your installed scanner. If you dont have one get a good free one online.
