How do I get GTA IV off the xbox live marketplace without using my parents credit card?
July 5th, 2010 | by admin |I want to get GTA IV, but I dont want my parents to know, and the only way to buy it is to use a credit or debit card. Does anyone know if you can use those visa giftcards of whatever they are on the xbox?
You will not be able to use a pre-paid card on the X-Box live system, the card will be rejected by the system. You can purchase a points card for this and download it.
You must also understand that should your parents find out that you purchased it (and you’re underage) if they complain to x-box support your account will be suspended.

YUp, you can. As long as it has the logo of a major credit card company, It’s good. Be advised, most of the time those cards carry a $5 surcharge.

You can also buy Microsoft points cards at any major retailer like Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart, or Target. Keep in mind though that if you Xbox Live account is not an adult account, then you can not buy the game without your parent’s permission anyway.

i know you can get the gta IV episodes, but you need the gta iv game to play them. are you sure they have the actual gta iv game on the market place? and yes you can use something like a giftcard, go to gamestop, they sell these point cards you can use
