What’s the best thing to sell in a Marketplace?
November 15th, 2010 | by admin |I joined a youth entrepreneurship program which ends at a marketplace and i need suggestions as to what i can sell. I short-listed 2 options
1) i can sell desserts like cheesecakes,chocolate mousse, brownies, cookies etc.
2) i can sell decorative items,jewellery and fake flowers made up of cold porcelain.
Which one would u buy if u were one of the customers?which one should i do? please give me ideas about how i can improve these things and advertise.Any other suggestions as to what i can do are welcome.
P.S : the marketplace will be in a mall…3 weeks from now…i need to submit my idea by thursday!!!! PLEASE HELP!
Do the jewelry. You could sell personalized picture/photograph jewelry. Download and print pictures of sports teams logos, European buildings or flags. Bring your digital camera and take pictures of the people who want the personalized jewelry. Place the photographs into the necklaces, belt buckles, bracelets, keychains. etc. There you go! Or, you could pre-make them and just concentrate on the patterns/logos/buildings like Claire’s & The Icing do.
