In Thailand (Buddhist), there are Muslim prayer rooms at nearly every mall and airport. Why is that?

I am confused because Thais are clearly Buddhist and there are less than five percent Muslims in Thailand. Then, why does it seem that the marketplace is catering to the Muslims and there is even a Islamic Committee that approves foods as halal or okay for Muslim consumption as it relates to their Islamic laws?

Because people in thailand are nice to muslims. They give Muslims prayer rooms because they need them according to their religion, they have halal foods so muslims can know they are eating the right foods. There is halal food and prayer rooms in england too, and probably in other countries too.

Perhaps it is an indication that Muslims are beginning to take over the world, gradually, even though they’re not a majority in all places.

Thais are peaceful people, so are the Muslims.
