Hair Rebond in David’s Salon Part 1/11
April 11th, 2010 | by admin |
Time for haircut! I decided to have a hair rebond treatment at DAvid’s Salon prior to having my haircut. It’s been more than a year since my last hair relax treatment, so I definitely badly needed this treatment to fix my hair, hehe. After washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner, the guy started to apply the hair relax cream all over my hair to soften the hair and reduce the frizzy and shaggy parts. The cream was left to dry on my head for 45 minutes. Whew! hehe. David’s Salon at the Marketplace Mall, Mandaluyong City, Philippines Nov. 5, 2008

I always had my …
I always had my hair relaxed, and this was actually my first time to have a hair rebond. The only difference I could tell is that hair is more straighter in hair rebond compared to hair relax. hair relax also straightens hair, but it’s focus is to really soften the hair, or in other words, relax the frizz and tangle.

yup that’s true. girls can’t use ponytail or even tie their hair in any way coz that could damage the rebonded hair. they are to leave their hair untouched, so to speak.

hmmm not really …
hmmm not really sure but from the word “keratin” treatment, I would think it’s different. the hair rebond treatment was basically for hair straightening. There is a hair treatment called “hot oil” treatment in salons here, it’s specifically designed to soften hair strands and protect hair and scalp by strengthening it, and there are other hair treatments for that purpose. That I would think is similar to the brazilian keratin treatment. =)

Truly should have left your hair longer there is something so special and sexy guy or girl about long hair. instead of having a generic haircut. The way each persons own individual hair grows is awesome. short haircuts suck just blah blah boring.

it’s not advisable to have your hair rebonded if it is that short. better wait for it to grow longer. i guess the only thing you can do now is hot oil treatment.

Hi there garciawr2! …
Hi there garciawr2! I never really inteded to have my hair rebonded, I only have it relaxed every six months, mainly to help keep it in place and smooth. But the guy who did my hair offered to have it rebonded so I said yes. The only difference is that they don’t use a hair iron for relax treatment, as well as the creams applied.
