Where can I find bamboo plant shoots?

I’m looking for indoor bamboo (the kind you see in little pots for luck and such) but I just want to purchase the shoots for my aquarium. I’m looking for shoots between 12" and 18" preferably curly at the top and relatively inexpensive. The only ones I’ve seen were at Fry’s marketplace and they were 5.99 a stalk! I live in Phoenix, AZ, but national chain stores will do too.
